We are delighted to announce that Chris Robertson, a first-year MA student and graduate of Fordham University, has won a 2023 Robert Lamberton and Susan Rotroff Award.
With the funding provided, Chris will participate in the American School of Classical Studies at Athens Summer Seminar on Gender and Sexuality in Ancient Greece. Through readings, discussions, and visits to the sites of Sparta, Corinth, and Thebes, Chris will gain a synthetic view of the topic through social history, literature, and material culture, to complement his strong philological skills and enrich his current and future research on ancient gender and sexuality.
