Aaron earned his bachelor's degree in mathematics and Ancient Studies at Washington University in 2025. He is presently working towards his MA in Classics.

 

His research interests include: the Archaeology of Late Antique Egyptian Monasticism, the history of Late Antique Egyptian Christianity, as well as the transmission history of Christian texts in Greek and Coptic. Aaron is currently working on a research project using radiocarbon data to investigate the chronology of the shifts in burial practices in Egypt's Dakhleh Oasis as it relates to the spread of Christianity throughout the region. Aaron recently worked as an excavation volunteer at Poggio Civitate during the summer of 2025. After completing his MA, he hopes to pursue his research interests further as a PhD student in Archaeology.
