Last month, Will Bubelis spoke at two conferences in Greece. The first talk, entitled 'Private Religious Associations and their Finances on Hellenistic Rhodes: When is a Tax not a Tax?,’ was at the conference Religion and Cult in the Dodecanese During the 1st Millennium BC: Recent Discoveries and Research Results (Rhodes, Greece, October 18-21, 2018). The second talk was ‘Audits and Opportunities: Lessons from the John Max Wulfing Collection at Washington University in St. Louis,’ for the XV ICOMON (International Committee for Money and Banking Museums) Conference (Athens, Oct. 3-6, 2018).
