Washington University Classics Department Announces Its Summer Courses

The Washington University in St. Louis Department of Classics will offer four courses this summer:

Professor Joan Hart-Hasler will again teach her long-running course in Intensive Introductory Latin (L10 Latin 208) in the third summer session (June 10th through August 2nd). The course has been redesigned to meet the needs of current undergraduate and graduate students and students in the University’s Pre-College program.

Dr. Justin Meyer will teach his popular course in the history of the Roman Empire (L08 Classics 342C: Ancient History: The Roman Empire) in the second summer session (June 10-July 12).

Professor Kathryn Wilson will offer Greek Mythology (L08 Classics 301C) for students in the Freshman Summer Academic Program (June 17-July 12).

Maurice Gonzales will offer a two-week Ancient Studies Institute for the University’s Pre-College program on “Villains of Ancient Rome” (https://precollege.wustl.edu/programs).
