Tom Keeline to Be Promoted to Full Professor of Classics at Washington University in St. Louis

The John and Penelope Biggs Department of Classics at Washington University in St. Louis is delighted to share that Dr. Tom Keeline will be promoted to the rank of Full Professor, effective July 1, 2025.

An accomplished scholar and dedicated teacher, Dr. Keeline specializes in Latin literature, lexicography, and the history of classical scholarship. His work on authors such as Cicero and Quintilian has been widely recognized for its depth and rigor. Since joining WashU, he has been a vital member of the department, known for his engaging teaching, innovative research, and generous mentorship.
