On December 8, a highly organized committee of undergraduate and graduate students put on Certamen, the competition for high school Classics students created by the National Junior Classical League, for several area high school Latin classes. Our Classics Club and Eta Sigma Phi chapter worked together with their graduate advisor to create an edifying and exhilarating day, complete with numerous quizzes, an M&M mosaic competition, and a discussion of Classics as a field of study. Kudos to all who participated and worked so hard!
