On Monday, August 21st, Rebecca Sears participated in the 5th Annual Language Teaching Fair through the Center for Teaching and Learning. The event was attended by faculty from all of the language teaching departments at WashU, with a diversity of topics and language represented by the presenters. Dr. Sears gave a presentation titled Normalizing Enslavement in the Ancient World?: Case Studies and Controversies in the Presentation of Slavery in Latin and Greek Language Textbooks.
