Nicola Aravecchia has just published his latest article on ‘Ain el-Gedida, the important late Roman settlement in Upper Egypt’s Dakhla Oasis. His analysis of this valuable site’s evidence about Egypt’s late antique rural economy, titled “The Hamlet of ‘Ain el-Gedida in Dakhla Oasis: A Late Roman Epoikion?”, is out in the Journal of the American Research Center in Egypt 57 (2021): 13-31.
