Professor Nicola Aravecchia has published his review of Giovanni R. Ruffini, Life in an Egyptian Village in Late Antiquity: Aphrodito Before and After the Islamic Conquest (Cambridge-New York: Cambridge University Press, 2018). It will appear in the upcoming 2020 issue of the Journal of the American Research Center in Egypt.
