The John and Penelope Biggs Department of Classics at Washington University in St. Louis is pleased to announce that Jake Pawlush has been selected to receive support from the Kevin Herbert Memorial Award. This funding will assist with expenses related to his participation in the prestigious American Numismatic Society (ANS) Summer Seminar taking place this summer.

The Kevin Herbert Memorial Award honors the legacy of Professor Kevin Herbert, a longtime faculty member and scholar whose work significantly shaped the department. The award supports students pursuing advanced study in areas that reflect Herbert’s scholarly passions, including numismatics and classical antiquity.
