The department is celebrating the successful completion of two Master’s degrees this month, both with theses. Maurice Gonzales’ thesis is titled “'Horatian' Juvenal and 'Juvenalian' Horace: A Study of Juvenal Satire 9.” Rachel Hanlin’s is titled “The Carper, the Wallflower, and the Voyeur: Silencing Amicitia at the Cena Inaequalis.”
