T.H.M. Gellar-Goad of Wake Forest University and Christopher Polt of Boston College shared with WashU Classics insights gained from an NEH Summer Institute they co-directed last summer on The Performance of Roman Comedy. They held a mask workshop for students in the department’s classes in Roman Theater and Roman Elegy, and then delivered a lecture entitled, “What Can We Learn from Performing Roman Comedy”
