New Classics PhD takes teaching job

Constantine Karathanasis (PhD May 2022) has accepted a position as Lecturer at Texas A&M University next year. Constantine’s teaching assignments will include Latin, Greek, and Mythology. He will bring to the job a history of successful teaching and outreach in our department and plenty of valuable expertise and interest in ancient literature and culture. Constantine will be a member of A&M’s Department of International Studies, which houses the programs in modern languages and Classics.

For more on Constantine's dissertation, directed by Tim Moore and supported in its last stages by a Washington University Center for the Humanities graduate fellowship, see his piece in the Society for Classical Studies Dissertation Spotlight series and the video in NYU's Center for Ancient Studies Emerging Scholars series.
