The Department of Classics is thrilled to announce that the Dean of Arts & Sciences has approved the promotion of Kate Wilson to Senior Lecturer, effective July 1st, 2021.
The promotion recognizes Dr. Wilson's energetic and innovative contributions to Classics and to the university. For nearly six years she has taught courses from across our Classics, Greek, and Latin curricula, including many of her own design; she has consistently worked to expand her intellectual horizons and pedagogical techniques to improve her students' experience; she has reached across disciplinary boundaries to create new connections with colleagues on campus; she has made the most of St. Louis as a setting for a well-rounded and purposeful education; and she has helped us make the departmental community better every day.
