Now accepting proposals for its 2025 funding cycle
The George R. Throop Endowment is now accepting proposals for its 2025 funding cycle, aiming to support studies in Western Classics and Archaeology. Eligible applicants, including students and academics, can receive up to $1,700 for first-time applicants and up to $1,200 for second-time applicants to advance their research or participate in recognized archaeological projects. Proposals should include a clear research question, methodology, and a detailed budget outlining expenses such as transportation, accommodation, equipment, and fees. Submissions are due by March 9, 2025, and should be sent as a single document (.docx or .pdf) to Sarah Baitzel at sbaitzel@wustl.edu.
