Washington University's New Testament Reading Group

Social Distancing No Barrier to Classics Department’s Reading Groups

WashU Classics' Reading Groups have continued in spite of the pandemic

Weekly readings of Greek and Latin have continued enthusiastically at the Washington University Classics Department in spite of the coronavirus. Groups have been meeting weekly via Zoom to read both languages at sight, to read Vergil’s Aeneid aloud in Latin, and to read from the Greek New Testament. SLAGRAP (the Saint Louis Group Reading Ancient Philosophy) also continued remotely.

Sightreading of Greek and Latin and Reading of hexameters will continue throughout the summer. Anyone interested in joining should contact Tim Moore at tmoore26@wustl.edu.
