On Saturday, September 24, Professor Tom Keeline inaugurated the monthly meetings of the St. Louis Spoken Latin Group at the St. Louis Zoo. Assisted by graduate student, RJ Parsons, Prof. Keeline conducted a tour of the River’s Edge exhibit discussing the animals, statues, and various other topics in Latin. The twelve attendees came from all around the St. Louis area and for most this was their first encounter with living Latin.
